Landscaping Maintenance and Lawn Care Program

We believe that proper maintenance for your turf is one of the beginning elements to keeping a strengthen green living area that is why at JC LANDSCAPING We offer, weekly, bi-weekly, lawn maintenance catered to each space and client’s specific needs. Our Lawn maintenance program includes adjusting the mowing height for the appropriate seasonal conditions, string trimming along shrub bed edges, walkways, curbs, obstructions and foundations. Spring and Fall Clean-Up

During the spring season, we offer our Spring Cleanup services to renew the landscape. Our Spring Cleanup services includes trimming/pruning, edging and mulching of the beds. We blow-out light debris, we remove garbage, twigs, and dead wooded material. We do NOT avoid areas behind bushes and hard-to-reach places. We de-weed the beds, and we can even treat them with weed prevention methods (available only upon request).

During the fall season, our customers use our Fall Cleanup service to preserve their  landscape during the  winter months. We blow out  and remove the leaves and light debris, and summer dead wooded material. We touch up the edging and mulching of the beds and we trim/prune as needed. As a courtesy to our customers we will also blow all walkways, patios, decks and driveways.

Core Aeration and OverSeeding w/ Topdressing

At JC LANDSCAPING we highly recommend  Aeration and overseeding w/ topdressing to all of our customers. We believe this is one of the main key elements to having that lush green living area.  Core Aeration is the most recommended horticultural practice used to enhance the health and appearance of your lawn. It is the best way to improve air exchange and nutrient intake deeper into the root system.

Core aeration will remove cores of soil from the ground and deposit them on the surface of the soil to decompose. The core holes will elevate compaction which will increase oxygen, water and nutrients into the root system. The decomposing cores will bring microbes to the surface and help in the breakdown of thatch. JC LANDSCAPING uses professional Power Core Aerator machines (the same as golf courses), which pulls 5″ plugs out of the turf area with every pass.

Topdressing

Topdressing a lawn is the process of adding a layer of  Organic material over the lawn. Topdressing’s benefits are so numerous, as a soil amendment, topdressing can improve soil biology by adding organic matter and the beneficial microorganisms.Topdressing reduces lawn stress, helps keep thatch under control and acts as a long term natural fertilizer. Adding organic matter to a lawn by topdressing with organic matter is one of the beneficial cultural practice JC Landscaping has to offer.

Our maintenance program includes quarterly fertilization of plants and continuous assessment of plant health. During the months of October thru  Mid December, JC LANDSCAPING provides professional  leaf removal services. Our crew will come to your home and use  blowers to clean leaves from your lawn, beds, deck, patios and walkways. Leaves can  be blown to wooded areas or we can hauled it away.
